Try to stick your opponents with as many hearts as possible, while simultaneously avoiding hearts yourself. With rich graphics and smooth animations, Hearts Free is the premier Hearts app on the app store - and best of all, it's free. The image is very watchable with the ceiling lights on but it's a dedicated room for movie nights or spot of gaming and like with any PJ, it looks so much better in the dark.Optome 3M™ Peltor™ Optime™ 98 is versatile, over-the-head earmuffs featuring a stainless steel headband for consistent force and effective hearing protection. The classic card game Hearts is now available on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Having enjoyed the overall experience I got sucked in and soon switched to a "proper" projector (Epson EH TW7100 or 3800 in US) which has 3000 ANSI lumens. That 1080p native PJ gave a watchable image for movie nights but had probably 300 ANSI lumens and any lights on in the room ( or bleeding in through the door from adjacent room) would wash out the image so much you could barely see what was on screen. These really are scraping the barrel but it was just an experiment before I spent too much. My first toe dip into the world of projectors was by buying a 100" screen and a Chinese LCD PJ off Amazon. You should have a look at the website which has calculators for screen size Vs throw distance and then you can start to narrow down the projector specs your looking for. In the setup I've described, this has good potential for the overall experience. Then it's a case of working out your ideal throw distance from screen to projector position according to what image size you are hoping to achieve. Then I'd need to make sure those ceiling lights nearest the screen could be turned off if you wanted the ones near the couch on ( all ceiling lights off wud be better) and then a new window blind that has blackout material on the back or better still, curtains you can draw over the window. I would be working on the basis of having a drop down screen that hangs in front of the TV when in use and a ceiling mounted projector. Looks like you could make it work to me in that space with compromise on daytime image of course. Exactly *how* bad is the performance with some ambient light? Are there any options that I should consider? My budget is around $2k for projector and screen (I already have speakers). ![]() Pretty much no reviews show any tests with non pitched black lighting, so it makes it very hard to make a decision. This means that I am totally ok with some washed out colors, or weak blacks, but i would like to be able to clearly see everything on the screen and have it not looks completely terrible. I would like to be able to use the projector during the day with the lights on with "acceptable" results. It would not be heavy heavy light, and no outside light would get onto the screen. The only issue is that we have a light in between the viewer and the screen as well as a window (the only window in the room). So, I had the idea to install a projector screen about 5' from the TV wall, and then we could have a projector either on the couch wall 9' from the screen, or on the coffee table about 5' from the screen. We could move the TV/console about 5' into the room but it segments the room and that 5' wide hallway it would make would be awkward. There is also a pillar in the middle of the apartment, that limits options. The couch works best along one wall, and the distance to other wall is large (about 14') that makes having a TV less than ideal. I am moving into an apartment and the space is sort of awkward. ![]()
